The Feeling Forest

No joke, that's what this place was called.
Last time we went to France, I didn't get to go up on the courses, because I was pregnant with Andrew. I was disappointed.
This time I was happy to leave Juliette and Andrew on the ground with Janet, Ruth, and Eva, and Andrew was disappointed because he didn't get to go on the courses (too young).

But he ended up having some fun in the bouncy castles.

Tim Locked His Keys in the Car

We had to find something to do that was close to where we were staying because the Volvo had to make two trips to drop us all off, so we found ourselves in another ancient city. Hiking in an ancient city. The town was built on a mountain, at the bottom of the mountain was a river. Where we rented boats and went on a little river tour.

I didn't tilt the camera at all, that building is leaning. I wonder if the floors slope too?

I really wanted to go in this little cafe, it was so cute. When we hiked back up the hill, it was full of diners.

I Can't Remember the Name of this Town

(Eddie reminded me that it's St Malo)

Brittany was a bit chilly for the first few days we were there. But we found plenty of things to do. We walked thru an old fortified city, and walked along the beach.

Andrew went on a real pirate ship,
and had a fit when he got into trouble because he went in the water.
He also forgot his flip flops by the waters edge, so we all watched Ed run back across the beach to retrieve them.

Le Mont Saint Michel

One of the most amazing places I've ever been!
It was our first activity in France, and a great way to start out the trip. There were a ton of stairs, but it was worth the climb to the top.
