Excitement Next Door
Have I ever mentioned the commune of elderly people we have as next door neighbors? I don't think I have. We have very little involvement with our neighbors, we're polite, and when we happen to be outside at the same time we exchange pleasantries, which usually involve comments about how young I look and how Andrew is a very cute baby! Up until yesterday we only had one problem with them, one of their occasional commune members parked in front of our driveway. Well yesterday morning at about 9:45 I heard a dog barking, and it sounded like it was distressed or angry, or maybe attacking someone, so I cracked the front door open to see what was going on. Well, it wasn't a dog barking, it was one of the male commune members shouting at, now this is speculation, the nurse/caretaker who I've occasionally spoken to. He was yelling obscenities and telling his nurse to go to hell, etc. I couldn't keep the door closed, I just had to listen, it was kind of like the compulsion to look at a car accident as you drive by it. Then it started making my nervous. So I shut the door, called Eddie, and he told me to call the cops. Amber called right after I hung up the phone and told me she would be at my house in about a minute. She was lucky and got to hear the yelling first hand. By the time she was leaving, the cops, fire department, and paramedics were there. So I staked myself and my camera at the window in Andrews room. Nothing happened, except that all the emergency workers left after spending about 20 minutes inside the house! These are the only shots I got.
It was terrifying, exciting, funny, and disappointing all at the same time!

Great spy work Chelsea. Be sure not to let that old fart babysit your kid.
I'd probably take pictures to! I like to document EVERYTHING!
